Imara Solberg

Opened the Corvane desk in 2016 and represents the sawmill scheme from plan — including the parts of the programme that have slipped.

Imara came from a development consultancy, which is an unusual route into private agency and a useful one when half your register is still a construction site.

She handles the Corvane Shore scheme for the developer and the ridge lettings in Ostmere for private landlords. The two jobs have almost nothing in common except that both depend on telling people accurate dates.

She is the person in the firm most likely to talk a buyer out of something.

How Imara works

  • Contractual or indicative

On anything sold from plan she marks every figure as one or the other. Floor areas and completion dates move; she would rather a buyer knew which ones can.

  • Read the water rights

A mooring on Corvane is not the same as a right to build over water, and on the northern shore the distinction has cost people money.
